Open Positions (Updated 2/18/26)

Responsibilities: 

  • Generate new business through heavy outbound sales activity, including phone, text, email, and virtual outreach
  • Conduct consistent warm lead follow-up and strategic cold calling to prospects, prior leads, and referral sources
  • Respond quickly to incoming leads, web inquiries, and walk-in opportunities to identify needs and close sales
  • Build and maintain a strong daily pipeline through disciplined prospecting and follow-up activity
  • Meet with clients in person, by phone, or virtually to review coverage and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Educate customers on coverage options, risk exposure, and protection strategies
  • Develop relationships within the Corunna community through networking, local events, and referral partnerships
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing book of business
  • Provide ongoing service support, including policy changes, renewals, and basic claims guidance to maintain strong client relationships
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline status, and customer interactions within agency CRM systems
  • Stay current on Farmers products, underwriting guidelines, coverage options, and promotions
  • Consistently meet or exceed production, activity, and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with the agency team to share best practices and contribute to a high-performance, growth-focused environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or prior sales/customer service experience preferred
  • Free pre-licensing education available for unlicensed candidates
  • Active Michigan P&C Insurance Producer and Life/Health Insurance Producer licensing or willingness to obtain
  • Strong interest in sales, processing, and business developments
  • Professional presence for in-person, virtual, and phone interactions
  • Willingness to participate in local networking and community engagement activities

Compensation

  • Base plus commission ($40k-$50k annually)


We are seeking a motivated and customer service focused telemarketer to join our sales team. You would be responsible for following up on warm leads and cold-calling prospective customers to get quotes. This position is currently part-time with the potential for a permanent, full-time position, depending on performance. This is an at-will position with a 45 day probationary period. 


Responsibilities

  • Making sales calls to prospective customers for the agency using lists provided
  • Following up on warm leads with phone calls and sending text messages
  • Filling in quote sheets with information provided by lead



Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior telemarketing/customer service preferred


Compensation

  • $14-16/hr up to 24 hours weekly
